Video Help

I have installed Macromedia Flash Player but still don't see any Flash content. What is wrong?
The most common reasons that Flash content fails to display are:

Internet Explorer Settings on a Macintosh
On the Macintosh there is a setting in Internet Explorer to enable plug-ins. This setting is located in the Explorer Preferences menu of the browser. In the Preferences dialog box, select Web Content under Browser Display. Then ensure that the Enable Plug-ins option is selected.

Internet utilities blocking ActiveX
Some Internet Utilities, such as Norton Internet Utilities, perform functions similar to a firewall and may restrict viewing of ActiveX controls. You need to ensure that your firewall or utility settings are set to allow ActiveX controls or you will not be able to view Flash movies in Internet Explorer.

If you still have questions, please review our frequently asked questions for solutions to the most common streaming media problems.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why can't I see video?
If you can't see video, or you see an icon that looks like a puzzle, then you do not have the appropriate media player properly installed.

If you still cannot see video, your company firewall may be blocking streaming content. Please check with your IT administrator to determine if that is the case.

Why can't I hear any audio when the video is playing?
First, check your connections. Make sure your speakers are plugged into your sound card and your outlet. Make sure your speakers are turned on and the volume is turned up.

If you still cannot hear audio, try adjusting your volume from within your computer's control panel and from within the player. To adjust the volume on your Computer's Control Panel:

Why is the video freezing, choppy or constantly rebuffering?
Frozen or choppy video and/or excessive rebuffering usually results from network congestion. Network congestion can occur anywhere on the Internet or in your own network. For the most part, network congestion is outside of your control, and is often unpredictable; it's like getting caught in a nasty traffic jam. If you are experiencing symptoms of network congestion, click on Set Prefs connecting to a lower speed stream or from a higher speed connection or at a different, off-peak, time.
